The thoughtfully structured contribution of this land satisfied the descendants' desire to preserve the beauty of this sanctuary and broaden public access. In the process, a new home was created for the PGA Tour's John Deere Classic. The tournament annually produces significant funding that benefits hundreds of local charities and social service organizations.

Bordered by the Rock River in Silvis, Illinois, the TPA at Deere Run has garnered golf industry acclaim as one of the most scenic and challenging designs in the nationwide network of courses owned or operated by the PGA tour.
